These Terms of Sale govern all purchases of digital products and consulting services made through finance-controller.com. By placing an order or engaging services, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. The contract is between you and Alessandro Ratzenberger, acting as a private individual (not a registered legal entity), based in Zurich, Switzerland.
What you receive. Upon successful payment, you receive a licence to use the purchased Excel template file for personal and single-company commercial purposes. The file is delivered digitally via Gumroad immediately after purchase confirmation.
Licence scope. Your licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to one individual or one legal entity. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the file with third parties outside your organisation. For multi-seat or enterprise licensing, contact [email protected].
Intellectual property. All templates remain the intellectual property of Alessandro Ratzenberger. Purchasing a template does not transfer ownership or authorship. You may modify the file for your own use but may not represent modified versions as your own original work for commercial distribution.
No right of withdrawal for digital goods. Under Swiss law, digital products delivered immediately upon purchase are generally exempt from the right of withdrawal once download has commenced. However, if a template does not function as described on the product page, we will repair or replace it. If that is not possible, a full refund will be issued. Updates. Template purchases include free updates for 12 months from the date of purchase. Updates are delivered via the same Gumroad link used for the original download.
Engagement terms. Consulting engagements (part-time, interim, or project-based) are governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work confirmed via email. These Terms of Sale apply to the extent not superseded by that agreement.
Rates and invoicing. Fees are agreed in advance of each engagement. Project-based work is invoiced upon delivery of the agreed deliverable or at agreed milestones. Part-time and interim engagements are invoiced monthly. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
Cancellation. Either party may terminate a consulting engagement with 14 days written notice, unless a different notice period is agreed in the engagement letter. Work completed up to the termination date is billable at the agreed rate.
Confidentiality. All client financial data, business information, and materials shared during an engagement are treated as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the end of the engagement without time limit.
All prices are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and are inclusive of any applicable Swiss VAT where required. Alessandro Ratzenberger is not currently VAT-registered. If VAT registration applies in the future, pricing and invoices will be updated accordingly.
International buyers are responsible for any import duties, local taxes, or VAT obligations applicable in their own jurisdiction.
Digital product payments are processed securely by Gumroad. Accepted payment methods are determined by Gumroad's platform and may include credit card and PayPal. Alessandro Ratzenberger does not store payment card details.
Consulting invoices may be paid by bank transfer (IBAN provided on invoice).
The templates and information provided through this website are for professional reference and adaptation purposes. They do not constitute legal, tax, or auditing advice. Alessandro Ratzenberger is not liable for decisions made on the basis of template outputs, nor for any losses arising from use or misuse of the files.
Total liability for any claim arising from a digital product purchase is limited to the purchase price paid for that product.
These Terms of Sale are governed exclusively by Swiss law, in particular the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR). Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland.
